appScatter is a SaaS platform that simplifies app distribution and monetization across 300+ global app stores. During its early startup phase, I led a comprehensive visual redesign of the platform while the company worked toward securing investment for beta testing.
The visual redesign focused on reducing cognitive load while making complex information more accessible. Implementing a systematic approach to color, typography, and spacing transformed a technically complex tool into an intuitive platform fully aligned with developers' core goals: revenue growth, professional development, and business expansion.
Following successful beta testing and user feedback, appScatter merged with other UK data management companies to become Airnow.

Taking Inspiration from the App Economy
I developed a vibrant color system Inspired by the App Store ecosystem that served clear UI purposes. The design methodology provided a meaning visual connection for users while improving UI functionality and structure, creating a better experience and allowing for future growth of the platform.

Simplifying Complex Workflows
Simplified modal workflows with clear visual guidance helped turn dense and complex data sets into digestible, action-oriented views. By introducing clear visual hierarchies and progressive disclosure, users could now quickly scan and understand dense information that previously caused confusion and errors, reducing cognitive load while maintaining access to detailed information.

Competitor Intelligence Hub
I redesigned the competitor search experience to prioritize access to quick insights and easy monitoring, addressing a critical business need by centralizing competitor insights and performance metrics previously scattered across multiple sources. By consolidating previously fragmented data sources, users can now track store distribution, market coverage, and performance metrics from a single page. Territory and category filters allows teams to identify market penetration patterns and coverage gaps at a glance. A persistent watchlist toolbar streamlines competitor monitoring, providing one-click access to crucial metrics like rankings and customer reviews.
